DANDAN(Yokohama, Genghis Khan, Japanese cuisine)

Gen Gen Genghis Khan!!!
I heard because of the shape of hot plate used for the cook resembles to the hat of Genghis Khan, grilled lambs are called Genghis Khan in Japan(the cuisine was born in Hokkaido). Sheep meats are my acquired taste. Compare to beef, pork and chicken, lamb or mutton are still not so popular in Japan. But the lamb served by this restaurant are good quality and we can try various cuts of the sheep. Sometimes sheep cutting off show is held at this place. A butcher cuts a lamb off in front of customers and we can order any cuts of the lamb we like, yum yum! I also recommend you to try lamb stew with blue cheese, that's really stinking but addictive.
